Many people don't realise that mortgage brokers don't cost you anything. The banks pay them to introduce the deal and the interest rate the loan will be written at won't be any more expensive than if you went directly to the bank yourself. They will also talk to many banks and find the best deal for you on the interest rate, fees, and other features such as redraw facilities and equity access loans.
